Just look at those peaks and the green she starts out at before turning the rich yellow and the white before again yellow and a burnt unber shade towards the end.
B. Shorty's nods like the B. Candida Double and is the first to close up in the praying position at night. She tightly closes where none of the others variegated close this tight.
Since our find of B. Shorty's Variegated, two other variegated Brugmansia have come about. So those that say there are only a handful of variegations out there need to get real. We know that certain species can throw off variegated plants and we also know that crossing with variegated plant can create albinos. We also know that some variegation will not carry forward. If one hybridizes with variegated plants, one should understand what can develope.
As you can see B. Shorty's thrives on the hot full sun by the driveway, when any other variegated plant is place in the same area, they die within a matter of a week.
So can you tell me if these are the same??
